Meteor's History
Background
Meteor started life in 1993 providing parking services through leases, concession agreements and management contracts. By 1995 Meteor was managing approximately 10,000 car parking spaces across 20 sites. Today, we manage in excess of 40,000 spaces across many different sites across the UK through a variety of contract styles.
In 1999 Meteor Security was established providing guarding and concierge services to a wide range of clients across airport, rail, retail, port and hospital sectors. In 2006 Meteor Security became one of the first 100 companies in the UK to achieve the ACS (Approved Contractor Scheme) accreditation.
Our range of activities also includes providing transportation services including staff shuttle bussing, airside passenger coaching, hotel transfers, forecourt traffic management and traffic marshalling.
